scope:
Purpose.
To transmit revised enclosure(1),pages 1-10, 1-11, 2-13, 2-14a,2-14b, 7-15, 7-23, and 7-24 of BUPERSINST 1430.160. These changes state that a Sailor selected for advancement may keep their advancement even if they transition between the Active Component and Reserve Component, or between rates prior to their advancement date. Additionally, an update on submitting, guidance, and timelines for Exception to Policy (ETP) requests to OPNAV N13 is included.
