scope:
a) This Defence Standard (Def Stan) 02-317 Part 3 gives details of handling, maintenance records and issue of High Pressure Gas Cylinders manufactured to Def Stan 02-317 Part 2 prior to installation in a Vessel.
b) It lays down the requirements and format for records which shall be maintained during storage and the procedures for the assignment of a new Start Life Date (SLD).
