This Defence Standard specifies the requirements for one grade of multipurpose grease for the lubrication of gearboxes, anti-friction bearings, plain bearings and other mechanisms over the temperature range minus 40°C to plus 140°C, and where satisfactory performance in the presence of water contamination is required.
