Status: active
Page Count: 18
scope:

It applies to all worksites on NRMI where the provision of welfare is the responsibility of Network Rail, Principal Contractors or any contractors or suppliers employed by them.

NOTE Specific legislation might demand a higher standard of welfare facilities, e.g. working with asbestos or lead.

Purpose

The purpose of this standard is to specify the process required whereby all personnel working on NRMI are provided with welfare facilities that are clean, properly maintained and fit for purpose.

This standard interprets the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 and other applicable Health and Safety legislation.
