This specification applies to those involved in the procurement, design and manufacture of SRCL LED indicator lamps. This document shall be used when procuring new and replacement lamps.

This document covers red, yellow, green and cold white SRCL LED indicator lamps.

Purpose

This specification sets out requirements for the function and design of Short Range Colour Light (SRCL) LED indicator lamps for use on London Underground lines and states the qualifications necessary to establish conformity to those requirements.

Note: These LED lamps are used in safety critical signalling systems.
