This Part of this Defence Standard - Part 2 covers the Management and Control of Unit Level Tested Test and Measurement Equipment (TME). This is equipment which, because of its simplicity or mode of use, does not require periodic calibration but should be regularly checked against a working standard using an approved Unit Level Test Procedure (ULTP), under pre-defined and controlled conditions.

It is based on the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015 and BS EN ISO 10012:2003
