Scope.
This specification covers the performance requirements for red, yellow, and green light-emitting diodes (LED) with internal current regulation requiring no external resistors for operation on any voltage from 3 V dc to 30 V dc. Two levels of product assurance (JAN and JANTX) are provided for each device type as specified in MIL-PRF-19500.
