scope:
Purpose.
This specification establishes the requirements for a liquid fuel pressure sensor used in conjunction with a Fuel Pump Power Module (FPPM) or Fuel Tank Zone Module (FTZM) and Fuel Pump Module (FPM) to control the liquid fuel pressure delivered to the engine fuel rail. Pressure regulation shall be accomplished by controlling fuel pump speed while monitoring FPM output pressure via a pressure sensor.
