The materials defined by these specifications are PP/EPDM thermoplastic elastomers with UV and heat stabilizers. They may or may not be vulcanized (TPV). These materials have lower nominal tensile and tear strength compared to materials specified by WSS-M2D510-B6/7/8/9. They may have higher flow (lower shear viscosity per para 3.8.2) than materials specified by WSS-M2D510-B6/7/8/9.

Note: The materials within this series of specifications are distinguished by durometer hardness (see table in paragraph 3.7).
