These specifications define the requirements for thermoplastic elastomers with a durometer hardness less than 95, Type A. These materials may include but are not limited to EPDM-modified thermoplastic elastomeric olefinic and their vulcanizates (TEO, TPV) and styrenic block copolymer thermoplastic elastomers (TPS). These materials are used primarily for visible automotive interior passenger and storage compartments applications.

Note: The materials within this series of specifications are distinguished by durometer hardness.
