This standard applies to London Underground and London Underground Suppliers installing or modifying cable management system equipment on the London Underground power system.

This standard applies to new and extensions/modifications to existing installations within substations (including transformer rooms, switchrooms, BSPs, track paralleling rooms and other electrical supply points).

Cable in ground, tunnels, troughing, ducts, post routes and wiring within equipment enclosures are excluded.

Purpose

The purpose of this London Underground Standard is to apply technical requirements for equipment and systems on the London Underground power network.

Note: The term 'cable' has been used throughout this document to mean cable or wiring.
