Scope and Applicability.

This notice applies to Commander, Naval Education and Training Command (NETC), Commander, Navy Recruiting Command (COMNAVCRUITCOM), Navy Recruiting Region East (NAVCRUITREG EAST), Navy Recruiting Region West (NAVCRUITREG WEST), Navy Recruiting Region Central (NAVCRUITREG CENTRAL) Navy Talent Acquisition Groups (NAVTALACQGRU) and NAVTALACQGRU Detachments TAOC.

Purpose.

VADM John B. Nowell, Jr., Chief of Naval Personnel gave verbal concept approval on 28 September 2021 to Commander, Navy Recruiting Command/Naval Education and Training Command to disestablish 62 Talent Acquisition Onboard Center Detachments, (TAOC DET), rename 26 TAOC DETs to TAOC Sites and rename two DETs. This action will centralize the span of control from multiple Acquisition Onboard Centers (AOC) to a single geographically located Talent Acquisition Onboarding Center (TAOC) with each Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG), thus streamlining production capability for active and reserve missions.
