This specification should be used by all those when engaged in the design and manufacture of concentric cables.
Note: Cables shall only be installed in trackside bracket runs, they are not suitable for being laid directly onto ballast, nor in ground mounted troughing. The scope of this document includes PVC and low smoke cables in screened and non-screened variants.
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to specify the design and construction of railway signalling concentric cables, where each conductor pair shall be arranged in a concentric configuration.
