Scope and Applicability.
This notice is applicable to Chief, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery; Commander, Naval Medical Forces Pacific; Commander, Naval Medical Research Command; Commanding Officer, NAMRU TWO; Commanding Officer, NAMRU THREE; and Commanding Officer, NAMRU SIX.
Purpose.
To approve Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) request to rename U.S. Naval Medical Research Unit Two (NAMRU TWO) to U.S. Naval Research Unit Indo Pacific (NAMRU INDO PACIFIC), NAMRU THREE to NAMRU Europe, Africa, Central (EURAFCENT) and NAMRU SIX to NAMRU SOUTH, per reference (a).
