Scope.

This performance specification covers the overall performance, environmental, and safety requirements of the Authorized Stockage List Mobility System Version V3 (ASLMS V3). The ASLMS V3 consists of a certified International Organization for Standardization (ISO) container with internal modular storage devices configured to meet individual Supply Support Activity (SSA) storage needs. ASLMS V3 will provide containerized storage for both part and bulk items through the use of modular internal storage devices and be equipped with adjustable rack storage systems, and hazardous material (HAZMAT) spill containment devices. The ASLMS V3 systems will have the capability to operate in garrison and field environments and only be accessed while downloaded on level ground from the transportation asset. Systems being transported via Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck Load Handling System (HEMTT LHS), Palletized Load System (PLS) trailer, or other ground-based mode will be downloaded prior to accessing for safety reasons. Each ASLMS V3 configuration type will be customizable by an SSA to fit its individual needs. All ASLMS V3 components must be configured and packed for transport within an ISO container and designed to withstand the rigors of transport across sea, air and land (on and off road) modes of travel.
