This standard applies to all Civil Engineering works undertaken by Infrastructure Investment, Civils on behalf of the Territory Civil Engineer.

The processes defined are applicable to Project Managers and their team members and to the Territory Civil Engineer and his staff.

NOTE: The process for the management of H&S records for civil engineering is in compliance with Business Process Document entitled "Records Management of Health & Safety Files", NR/SP/INF/02202.

Purpose

This standard has been prepared to define the index for, and content of, Health & Safety files (H&S Files) for Civil Engineering works. This standard supports NR/SP/INF/02202, in that it determines the process for the compilation of a H&S File and the persons responsible for activities.
