This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for mechanical fittings intended to join PE pipes of outside diameters ≤ 110 mm for piping systems at operating temperature ≤ 40 °C, where the operating pressure of the fittings corresponds at least to the nominal pressure (PN) of the piping system components (e.g. 6 bar, 10 bar or 16 bar).
