This standard applies to all premises for which LU has landlord responsibility.
This standard does not apply to battery powered equipment operating at 50V or less which it is impossible to connect directly to a mains electricity supply.
This standard replaces 5-072 A1. The standard has been re formatted with technical changes.
Purpose
The purpose of this standard is to define the requirements for the testing of portable electrical appliances used on LU premises, and the keeping of associated records.
