This specification sets forth the requirements for a Remote Monitor and Control Panel (RMCP) for use with an FA-7871 Runway Visual Range (RVR) Signal Data Converter. This panel can be located at a distance of up to 25 miles from an RVR power supply and control panel and provides the capability for monitoring the outputs and condition of operation of any one of eight Signal Data Converter (SDC) systems. The panel has the further capability of initiating three maintenance checks which are required to verify RVR system operation.
