This Standard relates to the carbon dioxide charge to be used in conjunction with the following fire extinguisher which is described in DEF STAN 42 - 6
Extinguisher, fire, dry powder, 25 lb, 4210-99-129-5134
The charge, carbon dioxide, comprises cylinder, compressed gas, NATO Stock Number 4210-99-129-5136, filled with 227 grammes of technical quality carbon dioxide gas conforming to BS 4105: type 1 or 2.
