The equipment specified herein is a complete self-contained localizer transmitter operating in the frequency band 108 to 112 MHz. The RF unit of the transmitter provides approximately 55 watts carrier power amplitude modulated to a depth of 15 percent with a 1020 Hz keyed tone. The equipment includes all of the electronic and hardware components necessary to generate, modulate and distribute the RF energy for feeding a standard localizer antenna system. All active electron devices are semiconductor devices.
