Purpose.

To promulgate responsibilities and procedures for clinical privileging and credentials review of health care providers assigned to units under the cognizance of the Commander, Naval Air Systems Command (COMNAVAIR), consistent with the principles of reference (a).

Applicability.

This instruction applies to all providers assigned to the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and its subordinate units such as Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), and other units under the cognizance of COMNAVAIR. Collectively these billets are designated "claimancy 19", enclosure(1), by Commander, Navy Personnel Command.
