scope:
A non-directional beacon (NDB) facility provides users having appropriate direction finding equipment with reliable means of navigation. The equipment described herein consists of major solid-state electronic components for an NDB facility, operating in the 190-425 kHz band, including the components required for remote control and remote monitoring. The equipment is intended for use in the replacement of existing tube-type equipment at NDB facilities.
