INTRODUCTION
NRD 636 lists those components or processes which are currently undergoing approval with assistance from DRA. It reflects the situation as reported by companies Technical Progress Reports and is issued for information purposes.
No entry in itself authorises a change to a contract or to any contractual requirement.
The MOD is committed to the use of approved components and to make the maximum practical use of the CECC/BS9000 system.
To ensure compliance to this commitment the MOD invokes contractual obligations, ie Def Con 17 and has published Policy, Procedural and General Requirements documents, ie Def Stans 05-37, 59-36, 00-10 (see related documents) for further information of approved components refer to PD 9002, CECC 00200, Def Stan 59-59 (see related documents).
