scope:
a. This Section of DEF STAN 59-95 (PART 1) specifies the methods of assembly to be adopted when connecting Pattern 104 plugs and sockets, electrical (connectors), to standard cables and wires. It is to be used in conjunction with DEF STAN 59-95 (PART 1) 'Connector/cable assemblies-General requirements and methods of test'.
b. The methods specified herein, may be adapted to suit individual requirements when non-standard cables or wires are used.
