The equipment specified herein is a portable, battery-operated receiver utilized in measuring the respective signal characteristics of instrument landing system (ILS) localizer and glide slope facilities. The equipment consists of a basic unit and separate antenna accessories for operation in either the localizer (VHF) or glide slope (UHF) bands of frequencies. All active electron devices shall be semiconductor devices.
