This class guideline specifies requirements and recommendations for steel sandwich panel construction.
The requirements and recommendations apply to both new sandwich construction and overlay sandwich construction used for repair of damaged plated structure.
These requirements shall be regarded as supplementary to those given in the DNV GL rules for classification of ships (hereafter the rules).
