Diese Europäische Norm gibt einen Leitfaden über Herstellungsverfahren für Walzerzeugnisse mit einer Dicke im Bereich zwischen ≥ 35 μm u nd ≤ 200 μm, die eine geeignete Oberflächenqualität zur Produktion von halbstarren Aluminiumbehältern, Deckeln und Einwegservierplatten haben, die mit Lebensmitteln in Berührung kommen.

Diese Europäische Norm kann zur Fertigung von „gewalztem Halbzeug" angewendet werden, jedoch nicht im Produktionsprozess für Behälter, Deckel und Einwegservierplatten.
