This Standard specifies requirements for a polyethylene coated Kraft paper suitable for use in general military packaging and also; packaging of ammunition and explosives, and ammunition components.

This material should not be used in contact with oil, grease, or hydrocarbon solvents.

For packaging of munitions, refer to Def Stan 00-88 "Packaging for Ammunition and Explosives and Def Stan 00-810 "Marking of Ammunition and Associated Packages".

For Military Packaging of non-dangerous goods refer to Def Stan 81-041 "Packaging of Defence Materiel" (All Parts).
