Diese Norm legt Grundlagen für Routineverfahren zur reproduzierbaren Bestimmung des Staubungsverhaltens von Schüttgütern zum Zwecke des Arbeitsschutzes fest, die in der täglichen Laborpraxis alternativ zu den in DIN EN 15051-2 und DIN EN 15051-3 festgelegten Prüfverfahren angewandt werden können.
Diese Norm stellt den Rahmen für die inhaltliche Ausgestaltung von Einzelverfahren auf, die in weiteren Teilen dieser Normenreihe festgelegt werden und jeweils konkrete Beispiele für die Umsetzung der Vorgaben dieses Teils der Reihe der Normen DIN 33897 darstellen.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für Messungen des Staubungsverhaltens von Schüttgütern, bei denen die Einhaltung der Anforderungen nach DIN EN 15051 nachgewiesen werden muss.
