This standard covers the steel hexagon head bolt (hereinafter referred to as the "bolts") formed by cold forging. However, whenever possible, the bolts shown in ISD-C01-501Y( Hexagon bolts with flange ) shall be used instead of bolts shown here to promote the use of common parts.

Hexagon head bolts.
この規格は，鋼製の冷間圧造で成形された六角ボルト（以下，ボルトという。）について規定する。なお，本ボルトは部品共通化推進のため可能なかぎり ISD-C01-501Y(フランジ付き六角ボルト)に移行する こと。
注記 焼きもどし温度が低いボロン鋼を採用しているため，200℃以上の部位に使用する場合は締付け軸力の低下，材料強度の低下に留意すること。

この規格は，主として自動車に使用する鋼製の冷間圧造で，かつＩＳＣ－Ａ００－００８Ｙに適合する六角ボルト（以下，ボルトという。）について規定する。
注記１ Ｍ４はＩＳＤ－Ｃ０３－５００Ｙ（十字穴付き小ねじ），Ｍ５はＩＳＤ－Ｃ０３－５０３Ｙ（ヘクサロビュラ穴付き小ねじ）を使用すること。
