This supplement covers the assessment of hot-gas extrusion welded joints (WE), which were welded in accordance with DVS 2207-4 and DVS 2207-5, for example. Where appropriate, this guideline can also be applied to other materials.
The welding processes are divided into process-specifi c supplements. Guideline DVS 2202, Supplement 5 replaces section 7.6, Table 5 of Guideline DVS 2202-1 in its entirety.
