This supplement covers the evaluation of adhesive-bonded joints in pipeline construction (e.g. gas, water, waste water, industrial and domestic installation systems), which have been adhesive-bonded according to e.g. Technical Code DVS 2204-3 (ABS), -4 (PVC-U) or -5 (PVC-C). The specifi ed evaluation criteria are based on experience with adhesive-bonded pipelines up to a diameter of 315 mm.

Both destructive and non-destructive testing are used. The tests used to evaluate the adhesive-bonding result are listed in the following table.
