This supplement applies to the testing of the resistance of thin-walled (a ≥ 3 mm) thermoplastic semifi nished products to slow crack propagation. Supplement 2 is recommended for testing semi-fi nished products with a wall thickness of 10 mm or more. Sample extraction, shape of specimen, specimen preparation, recommended test stress, and interpretation of test results deviate from Guideline DVS 2203-4; the guideline is unchanged in all other respects.
