Organization: TIA
Publication Date: 1 September 2011
Status: active
Page Count: 18
scope:

This Bulletin identifies the tests in the TIA-102 series of technical documents that are appropriate for use in a compliance assessment testing environment in the area of Common Air Interface for Conventional operation. While formulating this document the members of TR-8.25 reviewed all Conventional tests described in references [1], [2] and [3].

In determining the tests recommended herein as appropriate to be considered for inclusion in the compliance assessment testing in this area, TR-8.25 considered whether tests in references [1], [2] and [3] were important for achieving interoperability between equipment of different manufacturers versus tests important for product design certification in the product development process. In general, tests that were determined to be oriented towards a "product design certification process" in a product development environment were deemed inappropriate for inclusion in the list recommended herein. The resulting list of tests recommended herein represents tests that are most important for or most likely to impact interoperability between manufacturers building to the same set of published standard documents.
