scope:
This European Standard describes some of the test methods for use with EN 17092 Protective garments for motorcycle riders (Part 2 and later parts). It does not apply to: motorcyclists' garments for motorsport competition events organized by a sanctioning body or motorcyclists' garments, such as those commonly associated with off-road motocross and similar off-road disciplines, unless said offroad garments have installed impact protection.
