This standard specifies the tolerances on dimensions and formfor aluminium and aluminium alloys cold drawn seamless tubes withan outside diameter (OD) from 3 mm to 350 mm (round tube, seeFigure 1) or with a cross section contained within a circumscribingcircle (CD) from 8 mm to 300 mm (other than round tube, see Figure2) supplied in straight lengths. This standard only applies to tubeproduced by the seamless die/mandrel method of extrusion (and thencold drawn to the final dimensions required). The temperdesignations used in this part are according to EN 515. Thisdocument applies to cold drawn, seamless tube for generalengineering applications. This document does not apply to: ? colddrawn tube produced by the porthole/bridge method (EN 754-8), ?tubes delivered in coils (EN 13958), ? coiled tubes cut to length(EN 13958).
