This procedure applies to:

a) the employees in Route Operations Control who report dangerous goods events when they occur; and

b) the employees in the National Operations Centre (NOC) who verify the information, risk rank the event and submit the report to Rail Notices for publication.

PURPOSE

This procedure sets out the process to report a dangerous goods event so it is included in the dangerous goods section of Rail Notices as required by GO/RT3053.
