This process applies to Network Rail Route Operation Controllers and sets out requirements and provides guidance to assist in the delivery of contingency plans and giving guidance to the safe operation of unsafe trains.
PURPOSE
This procedure manages the movement of trains with isolated or Defective On-Train Equipment (DOTE) and provides guidance and instruction for managing safety hazards associated with these types of movements.
