scope:

PURPOSE

This John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC) standard (SSTD) establishes the material, format, uniform method of assigning identification numbers, construction of the conduit identification plates, and methods of mounting the identification plate to conduits to the following systems:

a.Alltechnical systems conduit

b.Allfacility systems conduit interfacing with the staging contractor

c.Allfacility systems conduit carrying electrical power at 480 volts and above

NOTE: This standard applies to all newly installed conduit and to the replacement of existing conduit identification plates. This SSTD docs not apply to existing conduit identification plates which arc in good condition but have a different material, fonnat, or method of mounting.
