scope:
The standard applies to rooms and buildings with uniform temperature distribution, for which temperature requirements must be met and which are heated by water heating systems, e. g. residential and office buildings, schools, administration buildings etc. All main types of heating unit and floor heating systems are considered to be effective heating surfaces. Air heating systems and single unit heating appliances are dealt with in VDI 2067 Part 21.
Furthermore, the main controlling equipment such as thermostatic valves, P or PI controllers and operation systems such as 24-hour heating mode or night economy with and without high speed heating function are included.
