scope:

This Standard applies to the mechanical features of new and remanufactured power+perated dispensing devices for petroleum-base liquids for use as fuel in internal combustion engines where such devices are intended primarily t o dispense the liquid directly into the fuel storage tank of the engine.

This Standard does not cover associated nozzles or hose, nor does it apply to aircraftfuelling devices.

Metric units of measurement in this Standard are in accordance with the International System of Units (SI). If a value for measurement as given in this Standard is followed by an equivalent value in other units, the first stated is to be regarded as the requirement. A given equivalent value may be a pproxi mat e.
