scope:

This standard gives the requirements and test methods for fittings, made of unplasticized polyvinylchloride (PVC) intended for pipes with outer diameters of 40 up to 500 mm according to NEN 7045. The standard applies to fittings with sleeves and/or key ends and double sleeves (with or without bumper) suited for: adhesive bonded joints, rubber ring joints, flexible rubber ring joints, belonging to pipes with outer diameters of 40 up to 90 mm. intended for sewerages inside dwellings, pipes with outer diameters of 110 up to 160 mm intended for both inside and outside sewerages, and pipes with outer diameters of 200 up to 500 mm intended for outside dwellings. The standard is meant to be used in the external inspection of the internal quality control of the manufacturer, as part of the grant of a quality mark.
