Covers the minimum requirements for helical, spiral, and straight lobe oil free rotary compressors used for vacuum or pressure or both in refinery services. It is intended for air (and other inert gas) compressores that are in continuous duty on process units. Oil injected rotary compressors are not handeled in part 2 of this standard.
