This standard specifies the test methods to be used testing polymeric insulating and sheathing materials of electric cables for power distribution and telecommunications including cables used on ships. This Section One of part 3 gives the methods for pressure test at high temperature and for tests for resistance to cracking, which apply to PVC compounds.
