inactive, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 30 June 1977
Status: inactive
Page Count: 4
ICS Code (Pigments and extenders): 87.060.10
scope:

This standard describes a general method for the comparison of the lightening power of a white pigment with that of a reference sample of the same type. The standard applies to the testing of white pigments, unless otherwise stated in the requirements. In chapter 6 two methods, A and B, are described. Method A is faster than Method B and can be used for the examination of one sample; Method B is more suited for the examination of a number of samples, especially if it concerns a pigment with a lightening power that is not exactly known.
