scope:

This standard provides information on the selection and ordering of continuously organic coated steel flat products and specifies appropriate technical requirements for the products, e.g. for the test methods and tolerances on coating thickness, appearance and product dimensions and shape. This standard applies to colled-rolled steel flat products, with or without metallic coatings, that are continuously organic coated by the coil coating process. The products covered are wide strip in widths up to 1850 mm, sheets cut from wide strip, slit wide strip, strip rolled in widths less than 600 mm and cut lengths (from sheet or strip) with a maximum product thickness for the substrate of 2 mm.
