scope:

NEN 6745-2 gives directives and recommendations concerning static axial tensile load tests on foundation piles. The following aspects are covered: - set up of the loading equipment, - properties to be measured, how and when, - placement of measuring devices and the required accuracy, - test loading procedure(s) for different types of tests, like: tests on trial piles (e.g. in the case of new piling systems), suitability tests, acceptance tests, - presentation of test loading results, - elaboration and interpretation of the results.
