Specifies requirements and methods of testing Walking Frames fully equipped with handgrips and tips. The methods state how to test fatigue, static load capacity and stability. The standard also gives the requirements relating to safety, ergonomics, performance, marking and labelling. Recommendations further to the requirements given in this standard are given in Anex A. The requirements and tests are based on every-day usage of walking frames manufactured for a user mass not less than 50 kg.
