This standard applies to small grid-connected photovoltaic systems, incorporating a DC-AC inverter, intended for use as a single system or as interconnected system(s) in residential areas. The maximum total rated output current is 2,25 Aac. These requirements cover modules intended for use in systems with a maximum open circuit voltage at Standard Test Conditions of 120 Vdc. The photovoltaïc systems are intended to be installed in accordance with the National wiring rules NEN 1010. These requirements also cover components intended to provide electrical connection to and mounting facilities for PV-SYSTEMS.
